Hey, I have gone away for the weekend with my dad to the beach, near Eastbourne, we took our beach casters with us and i was just wondering what type of fish we should fish for at this time of the year (april/may) and what sort of gear i would need. Remember I’m fishing from the beach thanks.
Its the one that lights up and has that little light thing that comes out of its head and dangles in front of it to attract fish.
Its in Finding Nemo, it lures Marlin and Dory and tries to eat them, but then they find the dentist’s goggles and read the adress on it by using the fish as a light source.
Sorry, its just I need a picture of this fish to use in my art exam prep book, thanks =)
Its in a rod tube and no one will seem to take it as it is to long, and i cant make it shorter! I need to post it from preston if that helps as cheap as possible.. thanks

I was thinking of making a diddley bow seeing as it looks really interesting and easy to play and I love the sound, plus it looks really fun to make too. I’ve had a look at a few over youtube and the sound’s really great. I have a few questions of my own to ask, too.
- Many of the diddley bows that I’ve seen are made with a drainer or a collinder kind of thing to give it the echo, but I don’t know if I can get one of those. Would a tin can work? Or any type of metal or glass?
- How do I amplify it? I’ve seen how people attach a wire and things to it to get it but I’m not sure how all that works.
- And finally, do I need all the guitar gear? Like a guitar pickup, a guitar tuning knob and a guitar string? Or could I use other things like fishing wire instead of a guitar string if I can’t afford all that kind of stuff?
Thanks for looking guys. If there’s a website then throw it to me; I’ll check it out. In the meantime I’ll have a look around for any information on it and note it down. =]
In Britain it is illegal to catch fish through the method of tickling.
I don’t understand this because you are less likely to catch a fish through this method because it requires a huge amount of patients and the fish have to swim close enough to the shore (which is less likely then in the middle where a rod could reach) for you to be able to reach out and tickle the fish.
As you can see, it isn’t because it would deplete fish numbers.
What is so bad about fish tickling compared to conventional rod and tackle (not supposed to sound dodgy… but hehehehehe)
Frosc – I didn’t ask you to say whether it was or wasn’t illegal… I already know it is illegal hence the question…
Phillip – Thanks for copying exactly what I asked Frosc not to do…
I have 2 rods, but unsure what rigs to put on them.
I was thinking float rig and feathers?
Also Do flapper rigs always stay on the seabed? and what weight is needed?
Thanks
I was just wondering if people here thought I had handled this correctly. We don’t really have a problem with recall generally with our 6 month springer, he comes back when called even whilst playing with other dogs, I just have to walk on and he follows fairly quickly after. I use positive reinforcment, give a tasty treat when he comes and for every good behaviour. However today whilst walking our usual way we past the small fishing lake on our way home and he ran down to it and with out hesitation waded in and started to round up the ducks. I wasn’t happy that he did this and called him back, he seemed to take notice at first but then the ducks caught his eye again and off he went. I obviously couldn’t go in after him, besides as always I had my two children with me. So I decided to follow advice I have read several times in books, turn around and walk away, this worked, once he saw what I had done.
Thanks! You may have noticed the question appears a few times! It was during the "coffe break" Yahoo answers had, i thought it didn’t register and so i kept pressing submit! so thanks for both of your answers, good luck with Duke, he sounds very lovely!
