When fly fishing for salmon, an eight-weight fly rod with plenty of backing should be used, as salmon tend to make long runs. The Ph level is 8 and the water temp is 28 degrees all the equipment is new and I did not rush in putting the fish in the tank. I do have 2 new live plants as well. Could someone please help with advice on how I can fix these problems? I would hate to think I am doing harm to any fish I put into the tank.
I have had the tank for 36 hours. The store I brought it for said it’s safe to add fish after 24 hrs. The more I read the more I think this is not right.
I was told to get the Ph right and get the temp up to 26. It is 26 degrees. Ph is currently 8. I have been told of no other tests to do. But am learning more very fast. I have 2 gourami fish which are still alive and had 2 small sharks which have both died. I also have 2 live plants. Thank you all for your help.
Also when changing the water, do I have to treat the new water with anything? If yes,
What is best please.
Tank size is 65 l .Auqa start 500.

Does anyone play Fishing Simulation 2?

how long does it take before you get a bite, ive waited 20 minutes but no luck, i keep changing the tackle hooks, bait, ground bait, line depth, floats and fishing line but no luck, can you give me any good tackticks please. please tell me where to fish and what tackle you use.
I do know you need the right bait, can you tell me the best bait to use for types of fish

my fish had icky (white spot) now it has cleared up i placed them in a treatment tank and cleared out the main 60ltr tank to insure there was none of the parasite left in the tank so they could not get icky again. after i set the tank up and left it for 3days i places the fish back in the tank. one fish started to get red blood type marks under it scales and on its fins it now seem to be clearing up slowly but surely. but since i’ve put them back in the 60ltr tank the water keeps going cloudy and i don’t know why. i have a carbon filter and air filter. i vacuum the gravel once every other day as help help clear the water. but it keeps going cloudy my friend has the same tank and filter equipment but does not have a problem any clues, help or advice please and thank you

Thanks 4 the advice up 2 now. I normal do around 20% water change. The only reason Ive been doing so offen was because of the icky &cloudiness. So if I add some salt do I leave the carbon in and should I just leave the vacuuming the gravel for a week
Opps talk about noob lol

my fish are dying .help?

i have a 240ltr tropical fish tank for 7 months now.9 congo tetra,6 juilie cory cats,2 bristlenose cat fish,15 platies,8 harlequin rasporas,10 neon tetras.all was well till 3 days ago when i noticed 2 harlequins dead.followed next day by 2 platties and 1 congo tetra . then today another congo a neon and a platy.my hearts breaking watching it happen as ive tried to do things the right way..i do weekly water change of 30/40 % and add tetra easybalance after a change.i have an external and internal filter both bio i change the top white pad each week but only clean all other media in tank water every 2/3 weeks.and dispose of my carbon every 2 weeks.i add declorinator to my new water and try to get the temp as close to my tank as possible.my tank temp is 24/27 degrees.i test my water each week .always seem to have omonia at .25 sometimes 0 .nitrites 0 nitrates 0 and ph is at 7.6..i have an air pump and a selection of false plants and hiding places .i have noticed some fish were gasping for air at the top 3 days ago .so as my fish book says i did a water change and one each day since but their still gasping and dying.i don’t know what to do next .i know this means lack of oxygen but i have my air filter on except at night and my water change gives a little Relief but im doing something wrong .i was wondering if my tank was overcrowded as this seemed to happen soon after i added my final species .the harlequin rasporas.ive been conscious of this all along .help
thanks sarah.i got the 8 harlequins and 10 neons 2 weeks apart .probably too close .there were months between the rest.cant beleave i caused it and thanks glassman im taking water and the dead to be tested today .my seller is great at helping out .although i do think now ive only myself to blame .ill learn from that .thanks again.

and i was wondering how exactly the mini baitcasting reel works? i obviously know these rods are a bit of a gadget and wont be as good as a full size rod but i reckon it will be ideal and loads of fun for me and the lad, ive only ever used a spinning reel so i have no idea how one of the baitcasting reels work especially this small, how do you stop the line from coming out when it hits the water? (on a spinning reel the arm flips over to stop it coming out any more) also are they easy to cast with? i can see there is a small black button on the mini baitcasting reels, what is that? is it a sort of brake? has anyone used one of the pen sized rods and baitcasting reels? the one im on about they sell on nauticalia uk and loads on ebay, i’d really be grateful for any advice or tips, thanks alot.
