i live in northern brittany, France. and i live right next to a river.
i am a very amature fisherman, i have a rod with a spinning reel and a strong line,,, but i never seem to catch anything, i use worms as bait,
i go down to the river (it’s in the country side, failrly wide and slow.) and cast out,(using weights) and wait for about 4 hours. then after four hours,,,, i go home,,, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG, am i using the wrong bait, is it the wrong hook,,,
could anyone please specify the best ways to fish for trout and the equipment needed,
This blonde really wanted to go ice fishing. She’d seen many books on the subject, and finally, after getting all the necessary tools together, she made for the nearest frozen lake. After positioning her comfy footstool, she started to make a circular cut in the ice.
Suddenly—from the sky—a voice boomed, "THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE!" Startled, the blonde moved further down the ice, poured a thermos of cappuccino, and began to cut yet another hole. Again, from the heavens, the voice bellowed, "THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE!"
The blonde, now quite worried, moved way down to the opposite end of the ice, set up her stool, and tried again to cut her hole. The voice came once more, even louder: "THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE!"
She stopped, looked skyward, and said, "Is that you, Lord?"
The voice replied, "NO, THIS IS THE RINK MANAGER!"
Seany was a "difficult" contestant for BB. All those requests he was making (for parachutes, lakes and fishing gear, space hopper and hundreds of others); his practical jokes and pushing the rules. I think it was a fake eviction.
I want to take my father inlaw fishing who lives in southall, me or him have never been fishing before tho, i recently bought some basic equipment and i was looking for places for beginners or any where to be able to go fishing in london or even better west london.. Anyone got any suggestions and also any insight on how these clubs and day passes work?
Sitting there early in the morning before most people have stirred.
Quiet, calm and sunny.
Sipping tea and eating toast on the patio whilst you look across the tidal estuary at low tide.
A small yacht tipped on it’s side as it lies on the sand bank and a seagull perched on the bow rails.
No work today and just waiting for the tide to turn before you get the fishing gear out.
